Our hero (oh yes, you heard me), Mike, grew up with a natural ability for flying spacecrafts. Even as a young kid he knew that he was going to be one of the best space jockeys ever. Mike and his best friend, Ronnie, attended IGMU (Inter-Galactic Military University) where Mike excelled in air and space piloting and Ronnie became a master tactician of terra assault. While Ronnie had a vision of military greatness for both of them Mike had a much different dream. Mike is an adrenaline junkie, and he knew that he wouldn't be happy spending the rest of his natural life piloting sorties waiting for the next invasion. He decided to create the excitement for himself.

Mike decided that the smuggler's life was the life for him. Failing to convince Ronnie to join him Mike left the academy formed a small band of smugglers, pirates and other misfits and took to deep space. It didn't take long before Mike earned a rep for being one of the best "under the radar" pilots available for hire. Unfortunately for Mike not everyone paying attention to him were his fans. Captain Tariq of the pirate armada Star Ravager had been the scourge of the outer rim supply route until Mike and his crew proved to be too crafty for him. Corporations didn't mind paying Mike's high fees in order to secure shipment delivery from the far reaches of the galaxy. Determine to take control of the out rim again; Captain Tariq made it his personal quest to destroy and humiliate Mike and his crew. Hiring (kidnapping) the service of IGMU lead science professor, Professor Calvin, to create a weapon that would take Mike out of the picture for good. Not wanting to be part of a murder plot Professor Calvin created a miniature ray gun ( the Transmogapher) that would transform Mike into a monkey. The Professor convinced Captain Tariq that this fate was worse than death, Mike would now be the captain's pet. After Captain Tariq was satisfied with Mike's fate Professor Calvin snuck Mike's into his lap and transform him back. Suspicious of the Professor, Tariq's first make Mr. Peck followed him back to his lab. Once he knew what was happening Mr. Peck killed Professor Calvin before he could finish the transformation process.

Mike was able to subdue Mr. Peck and escape. Now Mike and his crew continue to smuggle and "gauntlet run" goods through space while trying to find a mind as smart as Professor Calvin who can complete his work.
